Julian Keil received his PhD in psychology in 2012 from the University of Konstanz, Germany, under the supervision of Dr. Nathan Weisz.  He is an Erasmus Mundus Exchange student working with Dr. Marc Schönwiesner on the influence of power and phase of cortical oscillations as well as corticospinal coherence on TMS elicited motor evoked potentials. Currently, he is a post-doc at the Charité in Berlin working together with Dr. Daniel Senkowski. Using EEG, MEG and TMS, his main research focuses on multisensory integration and the influence of pre-stimulus cortical local and network activity on perception.
