Study on surround-sound quality
The Music Perception and Cognition Lab is looking for subjects for a surround-sound quality study.
Participants will first pass a simple hearing test. If your hearing falls within our target range, you will listen to musical excerpts in surround sound and rate the perceived sound quality.
The experiment will take about 90 minutes.
This experiment consists of two listening sessions. Participants will receive 30$ compensation (15$ for each listening session) or 5$ if participants’ hearing is not within the required range of our experiment.
The second session will take place at the end of January. You need to take part in both sessions to receive the full compensation.
The experiment will take place in the CIRMMT facilities, 527 Sherbrooke St. West.
