Study on emotions, prosody and music
We are currently looking for Francophone participants to take part in a study on emotions triggered by facial expressions, prosody and music.
We are more specifically looking for people answering the below criteria:
- French speaking
- Aged between 18 and 55
- Non-musicians (no music lessons taken outside Quebec regular curriculum)
- Not suffering from severe clinical depression
This study requires participants to take part to two sessions (one per week). Each session are estimated to last approximately 2hours.
A financial compensation will be offered to participants to thank them for their time.

This study is conducted under the supervision of Pr. Michele McKerral (Psychology department, Université de Montréal), Nathalie Gosselin (BRAMS, Université de Montréal) and Isabelle Peretz (BRAMS co-director, Université de Montréal).
