Following the screening of documentary film "Oliver Sacks: Tales of Music and the Brain", Isabelle Peretz will lead a discussion on the therapeutic benefits of music for brain disorders.

"Art and science are intimately linked in this documentary on English neurologist and artist Oliver Sacks. Louise Lockwood’s film Oliver Sacks: Tales of Music and the Brain will be followed by a discussion on the therapeutic benefits of music for brain disorders, led by Dr. Isabelle Peretz, a Université de Montréal psychology professor who holds a Canada Research Chair in the Neurocognition of Music and co-directs the International Laboratory for Brain, Music, and Sound Research (BRAMS). Hosted by Yanick Villedieu, journalist at Radio Canada."
