Biographie
François Champoux received a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Montreal, a master’s degree in health sciences (audiology) from the University of Ottawa and a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences (audiology) from the University of Montreal. He is a member of the “Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec”, the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists and the Canadian Academy of Audiology. François is currently a post-doctoral fellow at the Montreal Neurological Institute with Dr. Robert Zatorre. His current research aims to identify the structural correlates of cochlear proficiency by way of different brain imaging techniques (voxel-based morphometry, cortical thickness measures and diffusor tensor imaging tractometry).
