Biography

After a completing a masters in Music from the Conservatory of Music in Chicoutimi, and a BA in psychology from the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi, Pier- Yves Girard debuted at BRAMS in September 2014 as a Master’s student in psychology at the University of Montreal. He is primarily interested in the neurophysiology of congenital amusia.

In research, I have done work on synaptotagmin function at synapses in drosophila as well as the perception of musical cadences in adults.
